Ignore the War Day 11 and 12
That was a short vacation; After less than 24 hours @ this place
we were heading back home, children sick again, no point being in the pool with diarrhea-infected kids... Anyways, I'm thinking about lifting the media-embrago when we pass the two-week marker on thursday. I'm starting to feel left out, not with regards to the Gulf-thing (which I still couldn't care less about until something important happens) but I'm starting to miss some danish news. I've now beaten my personal record for being without media. It's a weird experience. Sometimes it feels a bit like an awkward silence in a conversation; An urge to turn on the radio or TV just to fill out the gap. But those gaps may actually be where the good ideas start creeping in to the conscious part of the mind. The old cliché If it weren't for massmedia, people would start to think way to much
has some truth to it after all.
